Blessings Crossroads family---
In Greenville, SC for the past couple of days to close the transfer of our parent’s house
to a beautiful young family. Our parents built this house in 1957 and made it a true home for
my sister, brother, and I. Will return back to the Lowcountry Monday afternoon.
It was a joy to worship with you Sunday morning through the live stream. Joey Baham
always takes us to the throne of grace in our worship. Honestly, I wanted to climb through the
screen and somehow be present with you. The message by Ministries Pastor Rhett Marley
challenged and convicted me. His treatment of 1 Peter 3: 15 was excellent and I am grateful for
his preparation and delivery of this timeless message.
As a side note, let me encourage you always to give thanks for your wonderful church
staff. They provide outstanding leadership in their areas of ministry and will guide us to fulfill
our stated mission in the days ahead. We are blessed to have them in our fellowship. Also, we
are in the process of filling two staff vacancies. Please pray as this process continues.
The next few weeks will be times of important preparation for us. I will complete the
series Church 101 from Philippians, will give us Thanksgiving messages for two weeks, then
begin our preparation for the celebration of Christ’s birth. We’ll do our best to inform you
about mission and ministry and we serve in these final months of 2020.
Looking forward to being with you this coming Sunday. Know my love and gratitude for
the privilege of serving with you.
Sonny Holmes, Interim Pastor
