Prayer walked our entire facility Tuesday morning lifting our church and community before the Father. Also, got to spend a while in the beautiful prayer garden praying through our membership listing. This pandemic has limited our personal interaction and I’ve been a little
slow getting to know everyone. I wasn’t really geared for serving at a distance. But the prayer time is special and I am grateful for the time and precious garden as a special place of intercession.
This coming Sunday will begin Phase 3 of our congregational reopening plan announced
several months ago. Our schedule will change with Connect Classes at 9:00 a.m. and morning
worship at 10:30 a.m. We’ve had registration materials available for the past few weeks and hope that you’ve been able to schedule a Connect Class for each member of your family. If not, get here early Sunday morning and someone will direct you to the right place. Also, please note that Sunday Night discipleship will resume with our elder and CSU professor Dr. Ed Gravely leading a study of 1 and 2 Peter. This instruction will happen in the worship center at 6: 30 p.m.
Sunday I will continue our study Church 101: Philippians and the Partnership of Mission. This week we’ll complete Philippians Chapter 1 and introduce one of the key themes of the Epistle to the Philippians, suffering. Please give our worship time and this message some prayer
attention during the week ahead. Sunday morning, we will convene to give congregational approval to the proposed 2021 budget of Crossroads Community Church. Our Finance Team has prepared a thoughtful
estimation of our income and expenses for the coming year.
It has been more complicated this year with the Covid-19 restrictions, lower attendance, and reduced giving. I appreciate their prayerful spirit in completing this process. Please join me in praying for our financial processes in the year to come.
Serving with you is a continued joy!
Thank you. Blessings for a great week---
Yours in Christ,
Sonny Holmes, Interim Pastor
