- Sunday: 9:00am-10:15am & 10:45am-12:00
I cannot tell you how excited and thankful I am that we can begin meeting again. This coming Sunday, May 24, 2020 we will begin phase one of our church re-entry process with one worship service at 9:00 a.m. Serving as your interim pastor has already been a distinct blessing in these early weeks. But, being with you in person in the months ahead is going to enrich our service together. Harriet and I are eager to get to know you. Reunion Sunday will begin that opportunity.
We are grateful for the efforts of church staff members Joey Baham, Cassie Ford, and John Evans for developing this excellent phased re-entry process. Yes, our entire staff contributed to this effort and we should express our gratitude to each of them. Joey, Cassie, and John studied many recommended articles and texts in pulling together the broad aspects of our plan. The blessing and safety of our church family has been a primary consideration. Please take the time to read the entire phased plan noted at www.crossroads-summerville.org/reunion-sunday/so you can be prepared for what is going to be a great day.
Make note of the fact that the congregation will be socially spaced Sunday morning. Ushers and greeters will provide direction in this regard. Nothing would be greater than experiencing the closeness that is a Crossroads trademark. Still, safety is a greater concern right now. So, let’s honor one another with a smile and a wave, kind words that will embrace and bless us.
Also, please remember that we need to know you are planning to attend Reunion Sunday. The registration site will open Tuesday at 3: 00 p.m. Please register every member of your family so we can honor the recommended attendance limits.
Please also remember that some of us are more susceptible to the Covid-19 virus than others. If you have underlying health symptoms or are in those vulnerable age categories, please consider watching the live stream of the service.
The days we have prayed for are nearing. Reunion Sunday is the first of them.
But the hour is coming, and is now here, when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. John 4: 23, ESV
