Crossroads has adopted Newington Elementary School and we want to show some love to their teachers. Each year teachers reach into their own pockets to pay for supplies they need in their classroom. This year we are going to help out the 65 teachers at Newington by supplying items from their wish list. There are two ways you can adopt a teacher(s):
Option #1
Please fill a bag with the following items and place in the bins marked Newington in the church lobby:
Expo dry erase markers (black and multi-color pack)
#2 mechanical pencils pack
Facial tissue (multi-pack boxes)
Sanitizer disinfecting wipes (multi-pack containers)
Athletic boys crew socks (white 10-pack) (this will be for the students to use as an eraser on their individual white boards)
Option #2
Donate $40 to cover the costs to fill a bag for a teacher. Your donation can be placed in the black drop boxes located in the church lobby (please note Newington School in the memo line) or you can go on-line to donate.
Please have your donations in by August 8th. We will be delivering that week.
